Where in the world is Gidget?

Meet Gidget. AKA “Inspector Gidget”. She is the most curious + scaredy-cat dog all wrapped up into one tiny ‘lil Chihuahua package. Seriously, she’ll waltz into your home like it’s her own, wander up the stairs and most likely make herself comfortable on your bed, then her shadow on the wall will scare her and she’ll scream + come running to me! 😂😂😂 

But she is always, always down for an adventure!!! 

So where in the world is Gidget?!
This past week Gidget and I have been in Costa Rica, Miami, New York, New Jersey, New York City, and Long Island. Our current location is Savannah, GA, with a quick trip to Hilton Head Island this weekend, before heading to the Pacific North West on Tuesday for a two week road trip adventure from Seattle, the Oregon Coast, Portland, and in between! Holy moly, where in the world has Gidget not been?!?!

With all that travel means new places to chase sunsets AND sunrises!!! 
Like sunset from the plane over Wilmington, NC last week. Y’all know my sunset chasing heart, but watching this sunset from the plane as we were passing over the North Carolina coastline the eve before the arrival of Hurricane Florence was breaking my heart. Sending Pura Vida vibes to all those affected by that gal named Flo.

Or how about sunrise?!
Yes, that’s right, I said sunrise!!! Let me tell ya, chasing sunrise is sooooo much easier when all I needed to do was open my eyes and look out the window to see the clouds starting to light up! Talk about a room with a view! Let's just say I darted out of bed saying, "It's soooo good, it's sooo good!", and ran down the driveway to the beach to see one gorgeous sunrise unfold in front of my eyes over the bay!

And then the fog rolled in over the hills as the icing on the sunrise magic cake for this dreamy coastal capture from my drone!

Soooooo with all of Gidget's and my travel this month, what does this mean for you?!

AND one final thing...
Today is my six year anniversary of my last day as a NYC corporate girl!!! I definitely never imagined I'd be trading my heels for a camera, but I BELIEVED in following my heart + passions, and that made all the difference!
