About the Collection
It's kind of an interesting story.
I've technically never owned a car. Nope, the car I drove in high school and college doesn’t count because that was courtesy of mom + dad - (thank you!).
But I have this thing for cars.
Especially for classic cars.
I learned to drive stick shift in my dad’s black kit-car Austin Healey, affectionally called “Blackie”. Then my dad sold "Blackie" once he finished building his red Austin Healey kit car -- this one we named "Furia Roja - Red Fury".
Oh that engine purr and pure power in those Healeys…and how fortunate I was to grow up around these beautiful cars!
My guess is that if you've landed here, you have a thing for gorgeous cars too. Because you’re either a car person or not a car person…there’s just something about a vintage vehicle that winks at you that an adventure is about to happen.
One day I dream of owning a vintage beauty. Actually, if I’m really being honest…I dream of owning several and possibly doing electric engine conversions! And my guess is that you dream of this too. Or perhaps you already have started a collection and of course, you can never have too many… ;)

These are the most common + universal print sizes, which means that your print will proportionately look great on your wall. ¡Hola hola! I'm Kristen & it's nice to connect with you!
First things first, it definitely was love at first sunset and wipeout. 😍 🌅 🌊
I'm the #SunsetChaser here at The Sunset Shop and @sambatothesea on IG. 📷 I totally understand how it feels to be caught up in every day life and not be able to be at the beach as much as you'd like, because I used to work in a cubicle on the 24th floor in the concrete jungle known as New York City.
But my life was forever changed when I made a New Year's Resolution to learn how to surf, which led me to trade my heels for a camera and surfboard in Costa Rica 10+ years ago.
So even though you may live miles away from the ocean, you can have the beach in your every day too -- because I created The Sunset Shop for you, my fellow sunset chaser + beach lover + wanderluster!
