“Being an Interior Designer based in Vancouver, British Columbia means that we live in a really beautiful part of the world but it also means we can expect months of solid rain every year. I absolutely love Kristen's collection here at The Sunset Shop because it adds the perfect injection of warmth and sunshine into every one of my projects -- they are the perfect accompaniment to my coastal inspired design style.”

"We go out of our way to work with trades, vendors, and artists we really love - meaning we know they're good people (first and foremost) and great at what they do. I chose this amazing photo by Kristen M. Brown (@sambatothesea) because no one catches a palm like her and also she brings good juju. Yes, that's a must."

Meet the Photographer
¡Hola hola! I'm Kristen & it's nice to connect with you!
First things first, it definitely was love at first sunset and wipeout. 😍 🌅 🌊
I'm the #SunsetChaser here at The Sunset Shop and @sambatothesea on IG. 📷 I totally understand how it feels to be caught up in every day life and not be able to be at the beach as much as you'd like, because I used to work in a cubicle on the 24th floor in the concrete jungle known as New York City.
But my life was forever changed when I made a New Year's Resolution to learn how to surf, which led me to trade my heels for a camera and surfboard in Costa Rica 10+ years ago.
So even though you may live miles away from the ocean, or it's a 15 minute drive but you simply can't hop out to the beach everyday, you can have the coast in your every day too -- because I created The Sunset Shop for you, my fellow sunset chaser + coastal lover + wanderluster!
If you have any questions about the prints, from sizing to help picking which sunset or beach print you'd like to bring home with you, I’m here to help!
P.S. If you wanna learn more about my story of how I traded my heels in NYC for a surfboard and camera in Costa Rica, tune into my podcast episode on Salted Spirit!
