It's Feliz Friday and as positive + happy person that I am, this past week has just felt HEAVY. Gun violence, hate speech, lying, stealing, and cheating...have you had enough already??? We need to do better. We ALL need to do better.
But what if we all worked towards change?
Remember the movie Pay It Forward? What if we all pitched in...each and every single one of us? If we all performed one random act of kindness each day, or heck, one every week, imagine that snowballing affect of spreading love and kindness around our communities and this beautiful world we live in?! I don’t know about you, but I want to live in a world that is surrounded by love, compassion, and respect for one another.
We can do this!
Because even after the worst storms, there always seems to be the most breathtaking sunsets to remind us that at our core, love and our beauty from within will always win over ugly violence.
And. to the creators of the program Mac Cleaner that was disguised as a routine update to Adobe Flash player, even though I’m quite furious and feel violated by your bait and switch download scheme that consequently flooded my computer with Malware, I’m sending y’all nothing but love, hugs, and my big ole smile because I know y’all can do better in this world to use your intelligence to help people vs disruption.
XOXO,
Kristen
P.S. If you’re in Savannah, come on down to West Elm tomorrow and say hola! The Sunset Shop is going brick + mortar with a pop-up at the oh-so-awesome West Elm from 2-5pm (the streets from the marathon craziness will be open by then!) ---eeeekkkk!
