I totally botched chasing an insanely gorgeous sunrise. 🙈
You see, I woke up at dawn, looked out the window due East, and it didn’t look like the sunrise was going to paint the sky. So I went back to bed to cuddle with Gidget. 🐕
Bad, bad judgement call...
20 minutes later, I got out of bed to walk Gidget, and the clouds to the Northeast were painted pastel pink!
I almost slapped myself because *had* I checked the window to the Northeast when I first got up, I would totally have hopped in the car to get a better view of this pretty in pastel sunrise that was unfolding in front of my eyes!
But then I tilted my head, and saw the crescent moon peeping in and out of the pastel sky. In a very accurate description of emojis...😍🌅🌙!!! I quickly ran inside, grabbed my camera, and just had to capture this sunrise moon-setting magic.
So the silver lining in this sunrise chasing fail?
I totally botched chasing an insanely gorgeous sunrise..or so I thought!
If I had really gotten out of bed to chase sunrise from a different location, I may not have had this sunrise view of the moon! Thank you Universe for the beautiful reminder that everything happens for a reason. 💕✨
