P.S. As you most likely have guessed, I do love Costa Rica, but my first tropical paradise love will always be the Caribbean island of Antigua, where my paternal grandparents lived. In fact, my first birthday was celebrated in Antigua and it’s where I learned to swim…and get crushed by waves!!! So whenever I think of tropical paradise, I instantly think of Antigua and all of her pretty beaches, warm water, and the dreamy turquoise blue waters!
