Sunsets in Savannah Georgia || #FelizFriday 7.7.17

Part of the magic of Savannah is that at every twist and turn there is something new to explore. Picture a hidden driveway that leads to a welcoming summer bungalow with a lush lawn and a majestic view of Tybee Back River. A perfect place to spend an afternoon to celebrate a good friend's birthday, sip cocktails, and toast to Mother Nature's sunset magic.

Back in April, Savannah Magazine asked me to shoot this gorgeous location on Tybee Back River at sunset. As soon as the word “sunset” was mentioned, I was all in! Unfortunately the sun faded into the clouds on the horizon on the afternoon of the shoot, but the afternoon leading up was simply gorgeous. And almost two months later, I’m so beyond stoked to see my photo in print + featured in Savannah Magazine’s Homes Summer 2017 issue!

ANDDDDDD if you're not following along on Instagram or Facebook, then I for sure have a surprise for you! Two weeks ago I flew back to the US to surprise my mom for her birthday and I couldn't spill the beans with y'all until now because then I would have spoiled the surprise for my mom! My sister-in-law, 6 month old nephew, and I surprised my mom on her birthday last week (we drove 8+ hours from Miami!), then my brother flew in two days later, AND then we threw her a surprise birthday party last Saturday. Her response with all the surprises were, “You gotta be kidding me!” 😂😂😂😂 We were consistent with all of our surprises, and she was consistent with her reaction response!!!!

(With my whole family in one place for my mom's birthday, of course I had to take some pictures (even though my family was not the most cooperative during the shoot!😂😂😂). Pictured below is my mom with her cutie-pie grandson, George.)

Soooooo what does this mean for you? A 'lil change in scenery with some pretty low country, Savannah sunsets AND sunrises! Kinda like this...
