Rule #3 For Sunset Chasing || #FelizFriday 3/16/18

Mother Nature must have been hearing my sunset prayers, because she sure delivered one heck of a jaw dropping sunset on Monday night, smack in the middle of dry season here in Costa Rica. So why was this sunset such a special stunner? Because dry season in Costa Rica means no clouds in the sky for almost five months. Yep, that's right, it's blue and sunny skies all day, every day from December - April! And no clouds in the sky means the same simple sun passing over the horizon night after night.

But on Monday, the sky was milky - gray overcast, which set the stage perfectly for a jaw dropping sunset show. Although you couldn't see the sun pass over the horizon, about five minutes after official sunset time, the whole sky lit up in vibrant orange, purple, and red. To top that off, I think my photo client serenaded the sunset to be even more magical with his beautiful Ukulele playing. Nope, I’m not complaining one bit! 🌅😍🌅

So what's rule #3 for sunset chasing? 
3. When the sky is a milky gray overcast, there’s a pretty good chance the sky is gonna light up at sunset just like it did on Monday night 😉.
