You know that giddy feeling that you're about to watch a breathtaking sunset?
And that powerful feeling of being surrounded by nature's magic???
I've chased a lot of beautiful sunsets the past couple of years (rule #1...never miss a sunset!), but last Wednesday's sunset was one of my top sunsets that I'll remember forever.
This sunset was like a surround sound orchestra playing in the sky, with whispy pastel pink clouds floating like the twinkling of a flute, an electrically vibrant full rainbow booming the percussion, hints of baby blue harmonizing, and a vibrant orange magenta haze conducting the whole symphony.
Over a week later, thinking about it still gives my goosebumps.
When I close my eyes, I still feel surrounded by the electric magic of that special sunset.
And now that sunset is ready to surround you with its magic too...
Say hola to "Seize the Day"!
Now available as a print at The Sunset Shop so you can have this sunset magic right at home with you. 🌅💕

In other words, rain squalls + clouds set the stage for dramatic sunsets just like this...

For a brief stretch during rainy season in Costa Rica the afternoon rains stop and the refreshing offshore summer winds come back for a mini summer / little summer, or what's called Veranillo de San Juan (verano means "summer" in Spanish).

If you've ever travelled to Costa Rica, then you most likely know + love the phrase "Pura Vida" as much as I do. But if your high school Spanish aka Español is a tad bit rusty, I probably have had you wondering what the heck I mean when...
