I have a confession...
I totally botched chasing an insanely gorgeous sunrise last week 🙈. You see, I woke up at dawn, looked out the window due East, and it didn’t look like the sunrise was going to paint the sky.
Bad, bad judgement call...
I went back to bed for a mere 20 minutes, woke back up to walk Gidget, and the clouds to the Northeast were painted pastel pink. I almost slapped myself because *had* I checked the window to the Northeast when I first got up, I would totally have hopped in the car to get a better view of this pretty in pastel sunrise that was unfolding in front of my eyes!
But then I tilted my head, and saw the crescent moon peeping in and out of the pastel sky. In a very accurate description of emojis...😍🌅🌙!!! I quickly ran inside, grabbed my camera, and just had to capture this sunrise moon magic.
So the silver lining in this sunrise chasing fail...
If I had really gotten out of bed to chase sunrise from a different location, I may not have had this sunrise view of the moon! Thank you U n i v e r s e for the beautiful reminder that everything happens for a reason!!!

Rainy Season > Dry Season
Yes, I said it!
I prefer Rainy Season in Costa Rica over Dry Season...and if you love breathtaking sunsets as much as I do, then you will too!
(How about that for some rhyming... 😉😂)
So why is Rainy Season better than Dry Season in Costa Rica?
Because Rainy Season = magical sunset season in Costa Rica!
In other words, rain squalls + clouds set the stage for dramatic sunsets just like this...
